A Life time of Art and Health
ABOUT
Aileen Tamez
I was raised in the beautiful country of Paraguay-South America- There I trained in ballet, jazz and folk dance. I arrived in the United States in 2000 looking for my dancing dreams. I studied at Ballet West Academy in 2000 and went to continue my education and dance studies at Brigham Young University in 2001. Finally, in 2007 as a mom of 2 I graduated from Brigham Young University in Dance. While at BYU University I was able to perform with BYU Youth Artists, Ballet Showcase co., BYU Theater Ballet and Living Legends. Since graduation I have been teaching in different dance areas: ballet, point training, cross training for dancers, choreography and folk dance. I have been able to teach in dance studios in the Utah county area and in El Paso, TX. I have had the amazing opportunity to choreograph a number of times for the cultural event "Luz de las Naciones" in Salt Lake City.
I have dedicated a lifetime of passion, raw talent, and hard work to my dancing career and the classes I teach.

Now days as a mom of 4, besides teaching dance I have also found a passion for Fitness and Wellness. I enjoy on a daily basis sharing those things that are helping stay healthy and strong every day with other moms, my every day journey with its challenges and little victories.
Join me as well on the pursuit for fresh artistic visions and become part of a lifetime journey of healthy habits.
